Carbon reduction plan
Commitment to achieving net zero
Fortify Clinic Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with UK Government policy and NHS procurement standards.
Baseline emissions footprint
This is the first year Fortify Clinic Ltd is reporting on its carbon emissions. This baseline will be used for future measurement and reporting.
| Emissions Source | Tonnes CO2e |
| Scope 1 – Direct emissions (e.g. company vehicles, gas heating) | 0.00 |
| Scope 2 – Indirect emissions from electricity use | 1.25 |
| Scope 3 – Other indirect emissions (e.g. commuting, purchased services) | 29.52 |
| Total Emissions | 30.77 |
A significant proportion of our emissions come from contractor commuting to NHS sites. We estimate that this represents approximately 29.52 tCO2e per year. While Fortify Clinic Ltd does not directly control contractor travel methods, we work to raise awareness of sustainable travel options and prioritise the use of local workforce pools where possible.
Carbon reduction targets
Fortify Clinic Ltd is committed to reducing emissions year on year. Our goals include:
- Reduce electricity consumption by 10% by 2027.
- Reduce business travel emissions by 20% by 2030 by encouraging remote delivery.
- Work with suppliers who have Net Zero targets by 2030.
Environmental management measures
To reduce carbon emissions during contract performance, Fortify Clinic Ltd will:
- Encourage contractors to use public transport or car-sharing where feasible.
- Provide guidance on low-carbon travel during onboarding.
- Continue to deliver administrative and clinical coordination services remotely where possible.
- Collaborate with NHS partners to improve service sustainability.
